I LOVE SURPRISES!

Pretty little smelly things

These are a few of my favorite flowers I would love to see in my & the bridesmaids bouquets.

Peach Peonies, soft and romantic

Baby's Breath.... I kinda like the idea of my bridesmaids only holding these....

Blue Hydrangeas - Have always been a favorite of mine

The Dogwood flower, again another favorite of mine and I currently have a HUGE dogwood tree in my front yard!

White roses, they smell good

Pussy Willow sticks because I just like the look and they feel like little Caterpillars.

All to come together and look something similar to this....
I have this crazy idea that I'm going to be able to grow all my own flowers and make my own bouquets/center pieces. I might be in over my head with this one considering I DO NOT have a green thumb. Maybe I'll just reconsider making the bouquets and leave those to a professional, August isn't peony season anyway and they'd have to be special ordered.

I will however be asking my friends and family to grow wildflowers in their yards for me for random table decorations. More on that later.

As We Walk Down The Isle

I love the idea of making something either at the start of your isle for your grand entrance or something at the end for the altar. Here's a few that I think rock!

An old church window or two as the Altar

Handmade wood walls with vintage windows as your hitching post

I just think this is NEAT! Vintage swinging farm house doors....

It's Tricky Being Picky

Here's a GORGEOUS wedding venue! It has everything that I dream about.... accept one minor detail..... The venue is Rainier Mountain Lodge. It's nestled on beautiful property with a view to die for of Mt. Rainier located in the quite, 40 years behind schedule, town of Mineral WA. Only problem was, it wasn't a lodge it was someones home and only 4 people could spend the evening there. The 2 hour drive from Portland, OR or the 8+ hour drive from Montana for our guest is just to far for no over night accommodations. Our main goal in finding a venue is that we'd like to camp with our guests and also have cabins or a hotel close enough for those who can't/wont camp.
Here take a look at this little slice of heaven:

There she be! Mt. Rainier ladies & gentlemen. The clouds cleared while we were still there, she's beautiful.

It's a little old barn, but it's still cute for pictures.

One of two stocked ponds for fly fishing

The Bed & Breakfast

Wonderful fire pit

Stock pond #2 and a round pin in a heavenly location

When we pulled up to this venue I thought for sure it was the one. I'm disappointed to say that it's not but I hope to one day be as lucky as this couple (Terry & Kim are very nice people!) are to have such a beautiful place to rest our heads.
